IMPORTANT NOTICE

Skill Test for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2019

Skill Test for the eligible candidates of CGLE 2019 will be conducted on 15.09.2021 and 16.09.2021
across the country. This skill Test will comprise of three modules, namely, Data entry Speed Test (DEST),
Power Point Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS Power Point), and Spread Sheet (MS Excel).

Important Notice Skill Test for Combined Graduate Level Examination

• For Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), a master text passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key
depressions will be given. Duration of this test will be 15 minutes.
• Candidates can only type the equivalent number of words given in the master text passage.
• Combination of alphanumeric keys followed by space is termed as one “Word”.
• After typing given number of words in the master text passage the space bar will not allow further
typing of additional words. For example, if there are 500 words in the master text passage,
candidates can type only 500 words and after that space bar will not allow the candidates to type
any additional word, however, keyboard will allow the candidate to continue typing without using
the space bar.
• In case Candidates type additional words/wrong words, thereby exhausting the allowed number of
words before completing the master text, then they may use arrow keys/backspace key to correct
wrongly typed word(s) or remove additional typed word(s) before proceeding to complete the
master text.
• Candidates may note:
o The print out of the typed text will not be taken after the Skill Test (Typing Test/DEST).
o Candidates for English Typing Test/DEST are advised to choose English (United States) as
their option.
o A demo video for the said Typing Test/DEST has been uploaded on the website of the
Commission in the CANDIDATES CORNER for the benefit of the candidates.
• Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) comprises of additional two modules viz. (i) Power Point
Presentation/Generation of slides (MS Power Point) (ii) Spread Sheet (MS Excel) will be
administered on MS Office platform (Microsoft Office-2007 and higher versions) and duration of
each module will be 15 minutes.
• These modules will be conducted one after the other.
• After completion of both the modules, printout of the candidate’s work will be taken.
• The candidates will have to give the print command and after getting printouts for Power Point
presentation and Spread Sheet, they will also write their Roll Number, Name, Exam Date and Put
their signature on each page.
• Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with Microsoft Office – 2007 and above.
• All eligible candidates requiring extra time have been allocated in the second shifts.
Note : Candidates, who are exempted for this Examination should refer the detailed guidelines issued by
the respective Regional Office website.

Result of PET/PST of SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF
Examination, 2019 was declared by the Commission on 04.06.2021, wherein
5446 male and 508 female candidates (i.e. total 5954 candidates) were
declared qualified for appearing in Paper-II.
2. Further, vide revised results, 06 additional candidates were qualified in
PET/PST and 01 candidate was declared ‘Not qualified’ in PET/PST. Also, 02
candidates were allowed to appear in Paper-II on the basis of Court orders.
Therefore, a total of 5961 candidates were scheduled to appear in Paper-II. A
total of 5291 candidates appeared in this examination.
3. Normalisation of marks has not been done for this paper (i.e. Paper-II),
as the paper for all eligible candidates was conducted in a single shift only.
4. As per the provisions of Para-14.6 of the notice of examination, only
those candidates who scored more than the minimum qualifying marks for
Paper-II i.e. UR: 30% (60 marks), OBC/ EWS: 25% (50 marks and all other
categories: 20% (40 marks), have been considered for short-listing to appear
in Medical Examination.
5. The candidates who were declared qualified under various lists in
Paper-I of the examination, will subsequently be considered for selection in
final result of the examination under those respective lists only.
6. Representations received from the candidates regarding tentative
Answer Keys were carefully examined and answer keys were suitably
modified wherever required and finalized thereafter. The final answer keys
have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates in the
Examination.
7. Based upon the number of tentative vacancies and the number of
candidates appeared in Paper-II, the Commission has fixed a uniform ratio of
1:3 (vacancy : candidates) for qualifying candidates in Paper-II for appearing
in Medical Examination, wherever available

8. Based on the cut-off fixed by the Commission (Paper-I +Paper-II),
category wise details of candidates qualifying in Paper-II for appearing in

9. For processing of this result, candidates belonging to Category Code –

and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2019 would be processed
under the actual category of these candidates, which is to be provided through
Document Verification data.

submitted online from 02.09.2021 (6:00 PM) to 07.09.2021 (6:00 PM) on

As per para No. 7.0 of CEN 03/2018, candidates who had appeared in the first stage Computer Based Test
(CBT) held from 22.05.2019 to 02.06.2019 (total 12 days) and 26.06.2019 to 28.06.2019 (total 03 days –
rescheduled), are entitled to get a partial refund of their examination fee (which was Rs. 250/- for

Phase-VIII/2020 Selection Post Examination (Graduation & above Level posts) –
Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examination thereby shortlisting candidates for next
stage of scrutiny

Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination for Graduation &
above Level posts under Phase-VIII/2020/Selection Posts Examination from 06-11-2020 to 10-
11-2020 and 14.12.2020 (in Bihar State) at various centres all over the country. 326884
number of completed applications were received for Graduation & above Level posts.
2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per provisions mentioned
under Para 13.3 of the Notice of the examination. Such normalized marks have been used for
fixing cut-off marks to qualify candidates for the next stage of Scrutiny.
3. Representations received from candidates regarding tentative Answer Keys were
carefully examined and answer keys were suitably modified wherever required and finalized
thereafter. The final answer keys have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates
in the Examination.
4. As per Para 17.8 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates scoring minimum marks
in the computer based examination, as given below, have been considered eligible for
shortlisting to the next stage of Scrutiny:
(i) UR: 35% (i.e. 70 marks)
(ii) OBC/EWS: 30% (i.e. 60 marks)
(iii) All other reserved categories: 25% (i.e. 50 marks)
5. As per recruitment procedure mentioned at Para-17.9 of the Notice of the above
mentioned Examination, 13479 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny
based on the normalized score and merit of candidates in the Computer Based Examination, in
the following ratio:
(a) 1:20 for vacancies up to 5 (subject to the availability of suitable candidates).
(b) 1:10 subject to minimum 100 for vacancies more than 5 (subject to the availability of
suitable candidates).

8. The candidates who are shortlisted for next stage of scrutiny as per
Annexure-I are required to submit a copy of all the supporting Documents (Self
Attested) in respect of Educational Qualification (EQ), Experience, Category, Age, Agerelaxation, etc. (as applicable) in hard copy along with the print out of their online
application form to the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) to which the PostCategory belongs, by 30th April, 2021 by SPEED POST ONLY. The candidates should
clearly mention the “Graduation & above Level” and “Post-Category No……” on the
TOP of the Envelope while sending the documents to the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional
Office(s) by Speed Post.
9. It may be noted that if a candidate has applied for 3 (three) categories of posts, for
example, NR-16220, ER-13120 and WR-10620, then he/ she has to submit his/ her requisite
documents in hard copy, to concerned Regional Office(s) separately for each category of Post
i.e. to SSC (NR) for Post-Category No. NR-16220, to SSC (ER) for Post-Category No. ER-13120
and to SSC (WR) for Post-Category No. WR-10620.
10. If a candidate has applied for two or more categories of Posts in one Regional Office
only, for example, if a candidate has applied for two categories namely NR-18720 and NR18920, then he/ she has to submit requisite documents in hard copy, by Speed Post, to the
concerned Regional Office i.e. SSC (NR) separately for each category of Post i.e. one set of
documents for Post-Category No. NR-18720 and one set of documents for Post-Category No.
NR-18920.
NOTE:- IF PRINTOUT OF THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM ALONGWITH THE
REQUISITE DOCUMENTS IN HARD COPY IS NOT RECEIVED IN THE RESPECTIVE

14. Resolution of tie cases – In the event of tie in scores of candidates in the Computer
Based Examination, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after
another, till the tie is resolved:
i. Total marks in Computer Based Examination.
ii. Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
iii. Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
iv. Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
v. Alphabetical order of names (starting with first name)
15. Skill Test, wherever prescribed for any category of post(s) will be conducted from
amongst the shortlisted candidates whose hard copies of documents are received and found in
order at Scrutiny stage, by the Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) of the Commission. Due
intimation in advance will be given by the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional offices to the
candidates through their websites.
16. In case, during the stage of Scrutiny of documents/DV, the Commission observes that
the vacancy(ies) for a particular category of Post(s) is/are not getting filled up completely, an
additional number of candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Examination, in the
order of merit, shall be called ONLY FOR ONE MORE TIME, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE
COMMISSION for filling up the number of vacancies not getting filled up, in the ratio of 1:20

for next stage of scrutiny

Selection Post Examination (Higher Secondary (10+2) Level posts

Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination for Higher
Secondary (10+2) Level posts under Phase-VIII/2020/Selection Posts Examination from
06-11-2020 to 10-11-2020 and 14.12.2020 (in Bihar State) at various centres all over the
country. 241415 numbers of completed applications were received for Higher Secondary
(10+2) Level posts.
2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per provisions mentioned
under Para 13.3 of the Notice of the examination. Such normalized marks have been used for
fixing cut-off marks to qualify candidates for the next stage of Scrutiny.
3. Representations received from candidates regarding tentative Answer Keys were
carefully examined and answer keys were suitably modified wherever required and finalized
thereafter. The final answer keys have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates
in the Examination.
4. As per Para 17.8 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates scoring minimum marks
in the computer based examination, as given below, have been considered eligible for
shortlisting to the next stage of Scrutiny:
(i) UR: 35% (i.e. 70 marks)
(ii) OBC/EWS: 30% (i.e. 60 marks)
(iii) All other reserved categories: 25% (i.e. 50 marks)
5. As per recruitment procedure mentioned at Para-17.9 of the Notice of the above
mentioned Examination, 2684 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny
based on the normalized score and merit of candidates in the Computer Based Examination, in
the following ratio:
(a) 1:20 for vacancies up to 5 (subject to the availability of suitable candidates).
(b) 1:10 subject to minimum 100 for vacancies more than 5 (subject to the availability of
suitable candidates).
6. Category-wise break-up of the candidates shortlisted in the Computer Based
Examination for the next stage of Scrutiny are as follows:

7. Post-Category wise cut-off details of candidates qualified against vacancies for Higher

8. The candidates who are shortlisted for next stage of scrutiny as per
Annexure-I are required to submit a copy of all the supporting Documents (Self
Attested) in respect of Educational Qualification (EQ), Experience, Category, Age, Agerelaxation, etc. (as applicable) in hard copy along with the print out of their online
application form to the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) to which the PostCategory belongs, by 30th April, 2021 by SPEED POST ONLY. The candidates should
clearly mention the “Higher Secondary (10+2) Level posts” and “Post-Category
No……” on the TOP of the Envelope while sending the documents to the respective
Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) by Speed Post.
9. It may be noted that if a candidate has applied for 3 (three) categories of posts, for
example, NR-13120, ER-10720 and WR-11120, then he/ she has to submit his/ her requisite
documents in hard copy, to concerned Regional Office(s) separately for each category of Post
i.e. to SSC (NR) for Post-Category No. NR-13120, to SSC (ER) for Post-Category No. ER-10720
and to SSC (WR) for Post-Category No. WR-11120.
10. If a candidate has applied for two or more categories of Posts in one Regional Office
only, for example, if a candidate has applied for two categories namely NR-10420 and NR10920, then he/ she has to submit requisite documents in hard copy, by Speed Post, to the
concerned Regional Office i.e. SSC (NR) separately for each category of Post i.e. one set of
documents for Post-Category No. NR-10420 and one set of documents for Post-Category No.
NR-10920.
NOTE:- IF PRINTOUT OF THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM ALONGWITH THE
REQUISITE DOCUMENTS IN HARD COPY IS NOT RECEIVED IN THE RESPECTIVE
REGIONAL/ SUB-REGIONAL OFFICE BY 30th April, 2021, CANDIDATURE OF SUCH
CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SCRUTINY AND FURTHER
STAGES OF THE EXAMINATION. THE COMMISSION SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY POSTAL DELAYS.
11. The addresses of the Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices for sending the requisite
documents are given at Annexure-II.
12. Two candidates having Roll Nos. 5081009667 and 7083100691 have been
debarred from the examination of the Commission. Result in respect of these two
candidates has not been processed.
13. Resolution of tie cases – In the event of tie in scores of candidates in the Computer
Based Examination, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after
another, till the tie is resolved:
i. Total marks in Computer Based Examination.
ii. Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
iii. Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
iv. Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
v. Alphabetical order of names (starting with first name)

14. Skill Test, wherever prescribed for any category of post(s) will be conducted from
amongst the shortlisted candidates whose hard copies of documents are received and found in
order at Scrutiny stage, by the Regional/ Sub-Regional Office(s) of the Commission. Due
intimation in advance will be given by the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional offices to the
candidates through their websites.
15. In case, during the stage of Scrutiny of documents/DV, the Commission observes that
the vacancy(ies) for a particular category of Post(s) is/are not getting filled up completely, an
additional number of candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Examination, in the
order of merit, shall be called ONLY FOR ONE MORE TIME, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE
COMMISSION for filling up the number of vacancies not getting filled up, in the ratio of 1:20
for vacancies upto 5 (subject to the availability of suitable candidates) and 1:10 for vacancies
more than 5 subject to minimum 100 candidates.

of completed applications were received for Matriculation Level posts.
2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per provisions mentioned
under Para 13.3 of the Notice of the examination. Such normalized marks have been used for
fixing cut-off marks to qualify candidates for the next stage of Scrutiny.
3. Representations received from candidates regarding tentative Answer Keys were

1 The Bord Examinations For Class X And XII Will Commence From 4Th May, 2021( Tuesday).

2 Schools Will Be Allowed To Conduct Practical/ Project / Internal Assessment Of Class XII From 1st March, 2021(Monday) To The Date Of Conduct Of Theory Examination Of The Same Class.

3 Similarly, Schools Will We Allowed To Conduct The Practical Project / Internal Assessment Of Class X From 1st March, 2021(Monday) To The Last Date Of Conduct Of Theory Examination Of The Same Class.
