The Staff Selection Commission vide result dated 08.02.2021 had shortlisted
2557 candidates (258 Female and 2299 Male) for appearing in the Document
Verification.
2. After completion of all stages of recruitment as per Notice and based on the
merit-cum-preference of posts/force, candidates have been finally selected and
allocated to the following posts:
A – Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
B – Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
D – Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
E – Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF)
F – Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

5. As per the provision under Para-13 of the Notice of the Examination, “In case
where more than one candidate secure equal aggregates marks, tie has been resolved
by applying the following methods one after another in the given order, till the tie is
resolved:
(i) Total marks in Paper-I and Paper-II.
(ii) Marks in Paper-I.
(iii) Marks in Paper-II.
(iv) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(v) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appeared.”
6. As per Addendum dated 02.04.2018, “final result against departmental vacancies
will be processed by Delhi Police based on the performance of candidates in Computer
Based Examinations after declaration of final result of the said examination by the
Commission.” Hence result for departmental vacancies of Delhi Police has not been
processed by the Commission. Result of departmental vacancies of Delhi Police will be
declared by Delhi Police.
7. Final result of 01 candidate bearing Roll No. 2201024846 has been kept withheld
due to suspected malpractices.
8. The result will be subject to the outcome of following OA in Hon. CAT, PB, New Delhi:
i. Appointment to the last post of SI in Delhi Police under UR category is subject to
the outcome of OA No. 100/94/2021.
ii. Appointment to the last two candidates to the post of SI in Delhi Police is subject
to the outcome of OA No. 100/348/2021.
iii. Result will be subject to the outcome of OA No. 2784/2019, OA No. 1827/2019
and 3461/2019.
iv. Appointment of the last OBC candidate to the post of SI in Delhi Police will be
subject to the outcome of OA No. 127/2021.
v. Appointment of the last candidate to the post of SI in Delhi Police will be subject
to the outcome of OA No. 432/2021.
vi. Appointment of the last OBC candidate to the post of Sub-Inspector will be
subject to the outcome of OA No. 747/2021.
9. There are some candidates whose candidatures have been kept as provisional
by the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission but are also included in the
Select List. Concerned User Departments will check the eligibility of such candidates
thoroughly at the time of nomination.
10. Any discrepancy with respect to the selection/ non-selection/ allocation of post/
User Department, etc. may be brought to the Notice of the Commission within a period
of one month. Any such representation received after one month will not be entertained
by the Commission.
11. If a candidate is finally selected and does not receive any correspondence from
the Commission or the concerned User Department within a period of one year after
declaration of result, he/ she must bring this to the notice of the User Department
immediately thereafter.

12. Detailed marks of the selected and non-selected candidates shall be made
available on the website of the Commission from 26.04.2021 to 15.05.2021

these tests or having been placed on the final merit list, will not be a proof of any candidate’s

himself/herself all through the recruitment process. Candidates will be allowed to appear in written

Phase-VIII/2020 Selection Post Examination (Graduation & above Level posts) –
Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examination thereby shortlisting candidates for next
stage of scrutiny

Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination for Graduation &
above Level posts under Phase-VIII/2020/Selection Posts Examination from 06-11-2020 to 10-
11-2020 and 14.12.2020 (in Bihar State) at various centres all over the country. 326884
number of completed applications were received for Graduation & above Level posts.
2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per provisions mentioned
under Para 13.3 of the Notice of the examination. Such normalized marks have been used for
fixing cut-off marks to qualify candidates for the next stage of Scrutiny.
3. Representations received from candidates regarding tentative Answer Keys were
carefully examined and answer keys were suitably modified wherever required and finalized
thereafter. The final answer keys have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates
in the Examination.
4. As per Para 17.8 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates scoring minimum marks
in the computer based examination, as given below, have been considered eligible for
shortlisting to the next stage of Scrutiny:
(i) UR: 35% (i.e. 70 marks)
(ii) OBC/EWS: 30% (i.e. 60 marks)
(iii) All other reserved categories: 25% (i.e. 50 marks)
5. As per recruitment procedure mentioned at Para-17.9 of the Notice of the above
mentioned Examination, 13479 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of scrutiny
based on the normalized score and merit of candidates in the Computer Based Examination, in
the following ratio:
(a) 1:20 for vacancies up to 5 (subject to the availability of suitable candidates).
(b) 1:10 subject to minimum 100 for vacancies more than 5 (subject to the availability of
suitable candidates).

Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination for Higher
Secondary (10+2) Level posts under Phase-VIII/2020/Selection Posts Examination from
06-11-2020 to 10-11-2020 and 14.12.2020 (in Bihar State) at various centres all over the
country. 241415 numbers of completed applications were received for Higher Secondary
(10+2) Level posts.
2. Marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per provisions mentioned
under Para 13.3 of the Notice of the examination. Such normalized marks have been used for
fixing cut-off marks to qualify candidates for the next stage of Scrutiny.
3. Representations received from candidates regarding tentative Answer Keys were
carefully examined and answer keys were suitably modified wherever required and finalized
thereafter. The final answer keys have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates
in the Examination.
4. As per Para 17.8 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates scoring minimum marks
in the computer based examination, as given below, have been considered eligible for
shortlisting to the next stage of Scrutiny:
(i) UR: 35% (i.e. 70 marks)
(ii) OBC/EWS: 30% (i.e. 60 marks)
